My name is Florian Pollich. After visiting the vocational college for engineering I concluded my training as a technical draftsman for steel- and metal construction in January of 2008. After that I continued to work at the “Toni Amler Ingenieurplanungen” GmbH that was followed by a further education to a certified constructional engineer at the Municipal Technical School of Building Technology in Munich. I gained other experiences at the company “pbb Planung und Projektsteuerung GmbH”, “Toni Amler Ingenieurplanungen GmbH”, “KTEC GmbH” and “PERR Stahlbau Betriebs GmbH” where I deepened my knowledge in the fields of concrete construction, steel construction and systems engineering.

Now since January 2016 I run „FPS-Construction Florian Pollich“ as a freelancer. My personal work aspiration is a rapid and uncomplicated handling of the order. For this purpose, experience has shown that this includes not only to generate a list to order the material, but also that drawings are measured in a way, they can be manufactured without NC data. This ensures that production runs smoothly by unambiguous information. Rarely question can save time and money during the manufacturing process. The same goes for assembly overviews that provide the installation crew on the site with the necessary knowledge to be able to mount the steel structure properly and quickly.

The order of the assembly also influences the allocation of the parts to manufacturing drawings – because in my opinion the parts which will be erected first, have to be found on the first blueprints.

To create my models I use the CAD software Tekla® Structures with the license “Steel Detailing”. With this software, which was especially developed for constructing steel structures, it is possible to create models, plans and lists that can be adapted to individual requirements. My configuration of the program has already proven itself many times in manufacturing and assembly and will be continuously improved and extended.
